Where does the purple end and the black begin? When does the texturing stop? It doesnвЂ™t. The full-on dark uniforms look like an inkblot. The white pants help, but even with them, the dark colorsВ onВ the jersey stillВ run together too much. Too much black and purple too close together. They look like what someone would draw when you told them to come up with a typical football uniform. These uniforms are just kind of standard. Your uniformsВ are a snooze-fest, Sooners. What color are Notre DameвЂ™sВ pants? Mustard? Gold, ostensibly, but they alwaysВ look more like a shade ofВ green that didnвЂ™t quite get there. Like Michigan State, StanfordвЂ™s are a little boring, too, but they donвЂ™t have the great font to bump them up a bit higher. IowaвЂ™s uniforms are bold, but that muchВ black and yellow on one human isnвЂ™t the best look. TheyвЂ™re great, but the colors are a little too dark together. ArizonaДЄrizonaвЂ™s uniformsВ would be way higher up on the list if they employed a bit more white. The lines on the shoulders here, like LouisvilleвЂ™s, are a nice detail. UCLAДЄ lot of bright colorsВ here, and maybe we could do without the texturing on the jersey, but perhapsВ this year theyвЂ™ll change it up. The orange is a lot, but itвЂ™s a good orange. A little glaring, perhaps, but what they lack in subtlety they make up for in fun. Like the Gators, LSU uses complementary colorsВ for some great contrasting. We get a little bit brighter when it comes to the TigersвЂ™ uniforms. UNCД¬arolinaВ blue - baby blue, dare we say? - is delightful, theВ argyle classic UNC.
